I’ve just uploaded the prototype. It’s not quite finished yet because of some uncexpected circumstances and my bottomless stupidity, but i’ll try to polish it during the weekend, so it would look at least nice for the presentation.
I have to beg your pardon for all the advertisments on the page but we had to chose a service provider on the very last minute since gigacities turned out to be not so reliable (i couldn’t display my page using neither firefox or opera browsers). The adress at bravehost domain is the one we have written on the report so it will be the main prototype.
But just for the sake of tuesdays presentation i’ll upload the prototype on gigacities as well. There is a chance it will work fine so we will be able to present a ad-free page. I’ll upload the gigacities adress later on.

Ok, as promised here’s the report and the appendixes. I’ll try to finish the prototype by tommorrow, but even if i give up i upload it anyway. It’s still showing our idea and the way it would work.
Our appendix contains also personas, but you can find them on myspace (links are in
one of previous posts on the blog)
P.S. It’s really suprising how things can be simple. One can look for hours how to convert XLS to DOC and one just simply copy-pastes. Guess what i’ve done after whole day in front of a computer

So we’re actually almost finished. The report is being patched up, appendixes are being brought together and the website prototype still needs a little lovin’ but we can slowly start to celebrate.
We will upload the report along with the appendixes later today. The website will be online soon enough for everybody to get familiar with it before the presentation. The report should be in Michel’s mail box in a couple of minutes.
We still have one meeting left just to prepare our presentation and (perhaps) give each other some feedback. But we will do it on monday, so we can get some rest from each other and sharpen the knives for the upcoming discussion.
Anyway this still is not the last entry to the blog, but probably it is coming to an end and the domain atsproject.wordpress.com will fall into oblivion

Today we met at 10 as allways and did the following..
Today we had a detailed talk about the report content and what exactly is going to be in it. We have made most of the headlines for it and will keep adding if we think that something is needed.
We also had a discussion on how things have been so far and how fast we are moving forward. Too fast or too slow, are we meeting the deadline and so on.
The last thing we did today was looking at different layouts and designs for our page, and talked about how we want it to look and work.

Today we met at school at 10
We created two personas:
A guy and a girl with a profile on My Space. We filled out their profiles online to make them seem more real and also added a profile picture.
We discussed what each of them would look for in the new intranet system, and how it would work for them.
We made a list of default, implemented and external features the new system would have. ( We can still add more later)
There was more talk about the report, and we found a content template, which we got by Rikki last year. We can use this template as inspiration/guidance when writing the report.
We discussed a little about deadlines and when we wanted to begin and finish important things during our work period.
There will be more detailed talk about the report content etc. when Thomas was there.

Today we talked about the our idea for the new intranet, and explained it to the new member, Samir.
We talked about how the system should work, and why it was good for the students etc.
We went through a list of ideas for a part of the system.
We planned what we have to do before weeks’ end.
